We need your help to protect Ontario doctors and their conscience rights.
Bill 84 has passed the legislature without any conscience protections. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) still requires effective referral. This is unacceptable to those who conscientiously object to physician-assisted suicide. Bill 129, a private member's bill, is being introduced in the legislature May 18, 2017. This bill deals with conscience protection and assisted suicide and it would make participation in assisted suicide voluntary for doctors, nurses and other health professionals. Please write to your MPP using the from below to ask them to support this bill.
